Fellow Elder Scrolls game Skyrim has benefitted from modding just as much as Morrowind has. In fact, in terms of visuals, it’s probably benefitted loads more. There’s a buttload of graphics upgrade mods for Skyrim out there, but if we had to go with just one, it’d probably be PhotoRealistic Tamriel, which is essentially an all-purpose visual enhancer from the game. Shadows become deeper, textures become crisper, colour contrast becomes more rich- it all but removes the blockiness that the base game displays so prominently, turning Skyrim into an infinitely more beautiful game.
