H1Z1: KING OF THE HILL
The fact that Brendan Greene, PlayerUnknown himself, aided Daybreak with the development of H1Z1’s battle royale mode, called King of the Kill, should tell you all you need to know about how good it is. It’s quite different from PUBG, in that it doesn’t have as much systems in play, but the fact that the focus here is squarely on shooting instead of surviving makes for some truly bloody, competitive matches that kick into gear the moment you land on the map. King of the Hill also has a crafting mechanic in place that adds its own unique twist to the battle royale scene, and its more direct approach to the mode has endeared itself to many, many players.
