Baldur 1st Encounter – God of War – 2018
The opening of the new game sees a surprisingly low key reintroduction of Kratos as him and his son build a pyre for his dead wife and prepare to depart to scatter her ashes. The Stranger comes knocking at Kratos’s door. Baldur wants something from Kratos, who isn’t going to give it up without one of the most personal opening fights in the series, with the two going toe to toe against each other, just outside of Kratos’s home and what he’s there to protect. Kratos might be a father now, but Baldur shows that he can still throw down the kind of epic encounters that he used to back in Greece.
