The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion’s open moments begin with a prison escape. You are an unknown prisoner thrust into the depths of a plot to save the emperor from a murder attempt. But it means your freedom so you go along with it. It also means sword fights against large rats, angry enemies, and learning the basics of one of the best RPGs ever made. Not a bad start.
