10. Mortal Kombat X
Mortal Kombat has been known for being one of thr greatest arcade games, has been subjected to controversies and censure and yet endured. MK X is even gorier than its predecessors with a number of new characters. The game now implements a number of stage items that are interactable which players can use to their advantage.
There are a number of new moves for the older characters and the brutality of the game takes a giant leap with the fatalities. Some game elements seem to be inspired from Skull Girls (choosing specific fighting styles for characters) but the game has its own essence tucked away nicely where it should. Definitely one of the best things we’d witnessed at the E3 2014.
