HALO INFINITE
Like many other franchises have done over the last decade, Halo made the decision to adopts an open world approach with Halo Infinite in an effort to reinvent itself- and unlike some high profile failures, it made that transition with great aplomb. Halo has always been about its combat sandbox above all else, and Infinite’s open world setting acts as a perfect foil for that. Though not particularly massive, the open world of Zeta Halo is full of excellent combat encounters that players can approach in a variety of different ways, allowing the game’s incredible combat to shine on a consistent basis.
