12. Linear Battles
Destiny can be lauded for many a things, but battle variety is where it takes the plunge. A really deep plunge. Sure, you can enjoy shooting down a score of enemies in an area, but it induces a lot of ennui past a threshold. Destiny goes WAY past that threshold.
You’re, usually, subjected to the same objectives: Stand at point X, shoot enemies coming from direction Y, keep repeating until further screen pop-ups or you notice something markedly weird happening. You can expect to be famished in one or two areas. No, really.
