12. Hello to USB Playback
Yes, it’s a gaming console. Yes, it’s meant to sit there and let you leer at the splendidly detailed glory it churns out from its cores but sometimes it’s just not enough. The first few days were painful; we would shut our games down, plug in our external storage devices to fire away the crystal clear glory of our humble video collection or to jiggle to our favourite tracks or to laugh at our favourite sitcoms before being transfixed as the realisation would dawn upon us that there is no support for MP3s and videos from external storage devices in the newest Sony console.
The PS3 had allowed USB playback! And it will be celebrating it’s 10th anniversary in not 3 full years! In the name of all things good and that walk in the sunlight, please introduce USB playback, Sony. We miss the liberty to listen to our MP3s and videos. All of us. Or at least most of us.
