DYSMANTLE
A very reductionist description of Dysmantle would call it a post-apocalypse survival game, but there’s a lot going on here that sets it apart. The game puts a lot of its focus on systemic crafting and destruction, where, with the right tools, you can break apart pretty much everything you can find in the world, and then use that in turn to craft new and better tools. Combine that with deep survival mechanics, base-building, open world exploration, activities like farming and hunting and fishing, and what you have is a game that one can potentially spend dozens upon dozens of hours in. Reception during the game’s early access period has been very strong, so this is definitely one to keep an eye out for.
