Bando Namco’s wacky racing formula for PlayStation 2 was an abject failure. Installing their mascot behind the wheel alongside a minor gaggle of Namco characters from other franchises was the only original thing going for it. World Rally’s weapons and its circuits were uninspired, and the racing itself was drab.
