Overwhelming Content Causing Players Not To Finish The Game
This is a really subjective opinion and this will vary from game to game. The Witcher 3 is one of the best games of 2015 and is one rare example of an open world game done right. It has an incredibly long story and world packed to the brim with things to do make it quite the task to finish. The game encourages you to finish the game. However the same cannot be said about other open world games. Not only those games games have massive open world to work through, but the bevy of useless side quests constantly distract players from the main objective, causing many to not see the end of their journey.
