This boss is quite unique in terms of the way she looks and fights. The Mother is an awakened broodmother who leads the Darkspawn in Dragon Age Awakening. She has various attacks such as using her tentacles; she has a scream which can basically stun the party leaving them vulnerable for a few seconds. One of the most irritating attacks that she executes is summoning a large number of Childer Grubs, which attack in droves and ultimately overwhelm you.
