The Warp Whistle in Super Mario 3 is from Legend of Zelda

I loved the Warp Whistle. it was used to warp the player to farther points in the game. In Super Mario 3, it was actually a relief for me to find it because some of the levels were so tedious that I was glad to skip it. However unbeknownst to many gamers, the Warp whistle takes inspiration from the Legend of Zelda games and although there is a difference in the Warp Whistle in the Legend of Zelda. In Legend of Zelda when used, the opposite effect actually takes the player to places earlier in the game rather than father in the game. We are glad that the developers made this change in Super Mario 3.
