Okay, so this is interesting on a lot of levels- first off, GTA: San Andreas has mysteriously disappeared from the PSN Store and Xbox Live Classics Marketplace, without any explanation. Remember, this is a ten year old game, well past any controversy that would warrant its removal, and already proven to be compatible and running on the systems involved. It has no reason to not be sold on these marketplaces. The closest explanation would be that something in the original code- maybe a song- has a license that has expired (although that still wouldn’t explain why the game is being sold on the App Store).

But then, we have something else. Another piece of evidence that points at something much bigger happening- yes, you see, we might soon be getting an updated, remastered version of GTA: San Andreas. And how do we know that? We know this because Achievements for the game have been leaked on Xbox Live. Remember, Xbox Classics (or PSN Classics) do not have any Achievement (or Trophy) support.

The achievements seem to be pretty convincing (and in line with the achievements for the other GTA games) as well, so this sounds pretty legitimate, guys.

And you all know what that means- the best GTA game ever may be getting a re-release!
