Arma 3 explores guerrilla warfare

Smaller, faster, lighter.

Arma 3 is finally complete- its single player episodic campaign saw the final episode being released just a few days ago. But none of this is stopping Bohemia Games’ from their ongoing support for the game. For instance, their newest episode in their official Community Guide video series sees Andrew Gluck (better known as Dslyecxi) from ShackTactical explore the concept of guerrilla warfare – something which factors heavily into the Arma 3 singleplayer campaign.

Gluck approaches the issue from the guerrilla’s side- they’re a smaller, lesser equipped force going up against proper military. But what they lack in strength and numbers, they make up for in mobility and knowledge of the terrain that they are fighting on- guerrilla warfare makes for a uniquely engaging form of combat experience, that, with Arma 3’s unprecedented realism, should be exciting for players.

Do you play Arma 3? What is your take on its military realism and authenticity?
