Assassin’s Creed 3 for Wii U is a launch title, and also showcases what the system can do. The game also utilizes the unique gamepad controller of the system, but when it comes to basic tech capability, it is identical to the PS3 and Xbox 360.
The Wii U is a next-gen console so people normally expect the system to do something extra, when it comes to graphics. But it also depends on the developers to utilize the hardware to the max and considering the install base of the current gen consoles, it will always be a priority for now.
“I’m super excited whenever we demo the Wii U. It is exactly the same game that’s on the other platforms. And I know that sounds ridiculous, but it’s been a long time since I’ve shipped a game on more than three platforms where you could say it’s all the same. It’s not like some radically diminished version, so that’s exciting,” Ubisoft’s Alex Hutchinson told GI.Biz.
So it shouldn’t really be drastically different but I am hoping the frame rate is stable, at least that’s something that should be possible.
