Assassin’s Creed Syndicate TV Trailer Completely Forgets To Mention Evie

A.k.a. just one of the two main characters of the game, no biggie.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is almost here, though going by how little hype there seems to be for it (uncharacteristic for an Assassin’s Creed game) you wouldn’t know it. The game did get a brand new TV cinematic spot, however, and, I mean, it’s good for what it is- it especially seems to recall similar advertisements and trailers for 2013’s seminal Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

There is just one issue, though- the trailer completely neglects to show, bring up, or even mention, Evie. This is sort of an issue, because Evie is one of the two main characters in the game (and what with her being stealth focused, the one who has potential for a better gameplay experience too). It sucks that after finally having a female lead, Ubisoft are trying to suppress her presence in their marketing material.

Or maybe there will be two trailers, one focused on Jacob and one on Evie, and this is only the first one. That would be a good way to handle this, actually. We’ll see if the supposition holds any truth soon enough.
