Battlefield 1 Gets New Images Shared For Upcoming Expansion

Showcasing DICE's vision for the maps and battlegrounds we will be fighting on.

Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1‘s very first paid expansion, They Shall Not Pass, is due out in early 2017. Ahead of that, however, DICE have decided to share some concept art (er, ‘concept exploration’) showcasing some ideas they have about the maps and battlefields that we may be waging battle on once the expansion is released.

The expansion will see the French army being playable in Battlefield 1 for the first time- the game was strangely focused on just the US and UK at launch, with only the American and British armies being playable, and Russia and France’s contributions going a bit overlooked. At least a part of that will be rectified with this upcoming update.

You can check out the concept art for the new maps in the expansion for yourself below. Personally, the art, as always, is impeccable and incredible looking, and I am excited. Battlefield 1 is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
