Battlefield 3: Color Grading Console Command to be added by DICE

There are no major advantages/disadvantages to using it.

DICE earlier threatened to weave the banhammer if they found people using the color grading mod, where the bluish tinge is removed and the game looks somewhat natural.

Of course, threatening ban wasn’t the right thing to do, with the Internet going on a rage mode, hence DICE has revealed that they’re going to release a color grading console command so that players can play the game as they want.

However, they won’t allow people to switch it off entirely because they cannot offer support to those who encounter problems due to it.

“There will be a console command for disabling the color grading entirely in the game included with the next PC game client update,” Mikael Kalms wrote on the MordorHQ. There are no major advantages/disadvantages to using it, so they have said that it’s basically pointless.

Do you feel this was a good decision by DICE? Let us know in the comments section below.
