Bungie aiming to raise the bar visually with Halo Reach

Posted By | On 17th, Feb. 2010

Giving an interview to Eurogamer, Marcus Lehto, Creative Director behind Halo Reach admits that Halo 3 wasn’t a huge leap visually compared to the competition but they are now trying hard to fix the problem with Halo Reach.

Lehto believes Reach will raise the bar for the whole franchise with the help of Bungie’s new tech. “Well… we realised that we needed to compete against quite a number of other titles,” admits Lehto, the subtext being that Halo hasn’t been a visual powerhouse for some years now. “It really did require us to rebuild nearly everything across the board.”

This really does hype up our anticipation even more for Halo Reach. Here is hoping Bungie does live up to our expectations.
