Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare may have the most disliked trailer in history, and it may have come out looking poor in the incessant comparisons to Battlefield 1, but the game is still due out for later this year, and the developers are going full steam ahead with it. They are also sharing more information about the title on Twitter- and maybe as you learn more about it, you will be willing to give the game more of a chance, too.

For instance, on Twitter, Infinity Ward shared a short clip discussing how the studio approaches motion capture to create what it says are realistic characters in its games- and definitely, realistic animations are essential in a game like Call of Duty. Equally importantly, Infinity Ward also confirmed that they would be discussing the weapons in the game very soon- considering that Infinite Warfare has a space setting, it’s not a surprise that players are excited to know what kinds of imaginative guns the developer may have come up with. Also, players of multiplayer won’t need to wait much longer, either, because Infinity Ward will discuss aspects of it, including trick shots, soon as well.

So- the game may have made a poor first impression, but maybe Infinity Ward are hoping that as more information on the game comes to light, players will be kinder to it. We’ll see. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is due out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in November this year.
