Posted By | On 02nd, Dec. 2011

We just reported a rumour that Xenoblade Chronicles might be coming to North America early next year, with GameStop listing the game and one of ther salespersons confirming it. And now, Nintendo has confirmed that Monolith’s amazing RPG will be hitting the Wii April next year.

Not only have they listed the game on their website, citing a 2012 release date, Nintendo of America has also confirmed the release via Twitter. “N. America will join the throes of battle in Xenoblade on Wii in 2012!” the publisher tweets.

It hasn’t been confirmed if the game will be a GameStop exclusive, as the rumour linked at the beginning of the post suggested. But it’s been confirmed, and that’s what we really care about! It’s about time.

Read our import review of Xenoblade Chronicles here. We gave it a 9.5/10.
