Publisher 505 Games and developer InGame Studios have released a new trailer for its upcoming co-op shooter Crime Boss: Rockay City. The trailer, seemingly the first episode in a planned series, focuses on gameplay, giving us a glimpse at an in-game mission titled Candyman.

The trailer shows off two players trying to hold off against waves of enemies that are trying to steal “candy”. The players have to protect this candy by any means necessary, and are equipped with an impressive arsenal to accomplish this goal. Unfortunately, the mission ends in failure, with a special cutscene playing where the game’s star-studded cast of characters discuss this failure.

The trailer gives us our longest continuous look at Crime Boss: Rockay City‘s shooter gameplay yet, and while not too much was shown—more was revealed in an earlier gameplay trailer—this new series of trailers is likely trying to establish a vibe for the upcoming game rather than reveal any concrete details.

The trailer ends with a teaser for the next episode of the series, titled Hello’s Yellow.

Crime Boss: Rockay City is slated for release on March 28, and will be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
