Ahead of Cyberpunk 2077’s latest Night City Wire, production director Jędrzej Mróz is confirmed to have left the studio. In post on LinkedIn, Mróz thanked the company for a “spectacular” 15 years and said it was “time for something new!”
As per his profile, Mróz joined the developer in 2007 as a junior QA specialist, eventually becoming a lead producer in 2010 for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings on PC. In 2012, he joined Cyberpunk 2077 as a lead producer, became an executive producer in 2015, a senior producer in 2017, a lead tech producer in 2018, and finally, a production director in 2020. That’s a pretty long time for one game, but it is a unique game.
As for today’s Night City Wire, it airs at 8 AM PST today and will talk about what’s next for the game. A new update with content based on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is coming and adds new missions, weapons and features. Details on the first story expansion, which launches in 2023, may also be revealed. Stay tuned in the meantime.
