Dark Souls Remastered PS4 Sells Well In Japan, Media Create Predicts It Will Continue Selling Well In The Long Term

Dark Souls Remastered has debuted in first place on the charts for the PS4 in Japan.

Dark Souls Remastered was released only recently, and it has been selling really well in Japan for the PS4. The game has debuted in its home country at first position on the charts, according to Media Create. Media Create also expects that the game will continue to sell well in the country for the long-term.

The game has sold 71,739 units on the PS4 in Japan. The game’s total sales so far comes up to 81.97% of the initial shipment. Remastered editions of games usually don’t sell very well in Japan, and the success of Dark Souls Remastered shows how much fans love the game. The game hasn’t been selling many units for the Xbox One in Japan, but this is not very surprising since it isn’t a console that is very popular in the country. It will be interesting to see how the game sells for the Nintendo Switch once it releases for the platform later in the summer.

Dark Souls Remastered is currently available for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
