DayZ standalone first footage revealed

We have some new footage of DayZ standalone courtesy of DayZ tumblr. Check it out below.

Rocket and Matt provide a quick overview of some new elements of the DayZ Standalone project. Includes the new engine support for clothing, the revised loot spawning mechanics, and some new areas on the map.

We don’t have a release date or a lot of information on this yet, but as you can see in the video, it looks pretty nice. Here’s the current stats of the game:

Development is continuing to progress in extremely positive ways for us. The architectural decisions we have taken are providing continued dividends with the development of our disease mechanics, and in the ability to create notes in the world.
