Faithful players who have stuck with Destiny for almost a year now, were really annoyed to see that Bungie announced the rather costly The Taken King expansion that were clearly aimed at new players. However Bungie heard the outcry and managed to quell the anger by giving the faithful players a way to get all the content without having to buy the existing content. And they added that they would want to do something special to celebrate the first group of Guardians.

Those who upgraded to the Taken King from the Year One package would be getting a Sparrow, an armour shader and an emblem. However there seems to be more in store as Bungie asked players to tune in to it’s annual community which will be held on July 7th .

Bungie stated, “We’ll have some celebrations of the awesome stuff you’ve done this past year, along with some invitations for how you can express yourselves. We’ll also tell you how any player who has braved the first year of Destiny can achieve permanent, exclusive legendary status, This is something we’ve been working on for a while, and your own triumphs are the crucial ingredient.”

It’s good to know that Bungie heard the complaints and answered them with a swift and satisfactory response. Let’s hope they keep that up.
