The big changes to Destiny: The Taken King just keep getting rolled out by Bungie as the company continues to try and make up for some lost time. When Destiny first launched, there were quite a few complaints about the lack of content and the lack of extras included in the title. Now the company has announced that November’s update is going to offer even more cool features with the ability to purchase Legendary swords.

But according to Bungie, there is a bit of a catch. These purchasable weapons are only going to be available to players who have already collected at least one sword and upgraded it to exotic by finishing one of the more difficult quests. This means the update will allow for players to replace their Legendary sword which they lost for an exotic, but replacing that exotic with a new Legendary.

This change is actually quite a bit bigger, considering that swords were only able to be acquired by playing a one-time quest. The only way someone could get more swords is if they created another character and run through that quest with those other characters. While some people are obviously going to be quite happy with this latest development, there are going to be others who spent a ton of time grinding in order to get the swords might get a bit annoyed. This is just the latest addition to Destiny: The Taken King that Bungie has rolled out which make some pretty big changes to the game’s content outside of quests.
