Sohei Niikawa the CEO of Nippon Ichi Software has confirmed to Dengeki Online that Disgaea 5 is in the making and is currently in the pre-production stage.
The team is getting ready to reach development stage quite soon, since the pre-production is almost done. Sohei Niikawa also said that he wishes to make Disgaea 5 better than the original Disgaea for the fans, and surpass everyone’s expectations.
Tactical RPG fans may now rejoice after hearing that Disgaea 5 is officially in development. The platforms are still unknown and were not sure if the game will be a cross-gen title, PlayStation Vita, or only available for PlayStation 3 or the upcoming PlayStation 4.
