Alternate reality games have the power to be exceptional pieces of interactive media, Bioshock 2’s Something in the Sea viral campaign was truly wonderful, weaving an excellent interactive story for months prior to the game’s launch, even being integrated into the finished game itself.
Alt-Minds aims to take this to the next level, creating a fully interactive ‘transmedia’ experience that spans across PC games, smartphones, tablets and social networks. An episodic, paranormal thriller which will take players around Europe, investigating a swathe of kidnappings.
The Alt-Minds transmedia adventure is scheduled to start in Autumn 2012, and will be available in Europe in English, French, German and Spanish.
