Fire Emblem 3DS

Fire Emblem Fates is almost here. The sequel to 2013’s Nintendo 3DS exclusive RPG Fire Emblem Awakening will launch in North America next month, and ahead of the launch, Nintendo have gone ahead and revealed a brand new, Special Edition Fire Emblem themed New Nintendo 3DS XL system for fans of the franchise.

The system looks absolutely gorgeous- the two tone colors work very well, and the Fire Emblem inspired art is iconic enough to be instantly recognizable for fans of the series, while unobtrusive enough that players won’t feel uncomfortable taking their systems out in public. You can check out what the system looks like for yourself below. Do keep in mind that it will not come with a copy of Fire Emblem Fates, nor will it come with a charger.

Nintendo have also confirmed that Fire Emblem Fates: Revelations, the third story route for Fates which resolves the conflict depicted in Birthright and Conquest, the two versions that Fates is launching in, will be launching in North America on March 10.

Fire Emblem Fates itself, meanwhile, comes out on February 19, exclusively for systems in the Nintendo 3DS family.
