Half Life 2’s Head And Gun Tracking With The Oculus Rift Is Phenomenal

Wow... Seriously, wow.

Posted By | On 05th, Feb. 2013

Have a look above at the head and gun tracking virtual reality mod for Half-Life 2 created from the Oculus Rift dev kit. It looks absolutely phenomenal. The motion tracking seems to very accurate, first and foremost, and the gameplay looks really fun. Even more so than it was originally, and that’s high praise, considering how good the gameplay actually was.

It looks like the virtual reality mod will definitely add a lot of immersion to the game, and will make the experience a lot more engaging. If you want, you can use this mod for Episode 1 and Episode 2 as well.

Have a look above, and tell us what you think. Were you as impressed as we were, or is it something that doesn’t seem all that intriguing to you? Leave behind your thoughts in the comments section below.
