Here’s A Trailer For The Season Pass Of Ubisoft’s The Crew

Never change, Ubisoft.

Posted By | On 14th, Nov. 2014

Two days after the disastrous launch of Assassin’s Creed Unity, which was, among other things, panned for its abusive and exploitative DLC, microtransaction, and monetization techniques. Ubisoft has gone ahead and posted a brand new trailer for their upcoming open world, always connected, persistently online (oh no…) racer, The Crew.

And just how do you think have they gone ahead and advertised this upcoming game of theirs? Why, by showcasing the Season Pass, of course. They’re basically showing off all the cars and things that will be available to you only if you purchase the Season Pass, in addition to the base game itself. It’s… sort of gross, really. Especially in the week when Mario Kart 8’s DLC has launched, and shown us just how DLC really should be done.

The Crew launches soon. Let’s hope, for Ubisoft’s sake, that this launch goes better and smoother for them than the launch for Watch Dogs or Assassin’s Creed Unity did.
