Lara Croft Seen From A Different Light

Posted By | On 06th, Dec. 2010

We are originally used to seeing the pampered Lara Croft in her castle go rogue as the good life is not enough for her as she goes treasure hunting to for fill that void.  Well the next Lara Croft game shows her from a different light, all rugged and bad ass looking as seen on the cover of the next issue of Game Informer. Head of Crystal Dynamics, Darrell Gallagher, says to “Forget everything you knew about Tomb Raider” and goes on to say that the new game is “an origins story that creates Lara Croft and takes her on a character defining journey like no other.” I suppose this is a prequel even though the picture leads me to think otherwise but the story is that a younger Lara Croft becomes stranded on a mysterious island with her boat being destroyed from a storm. That is all the info so far stay tuned for more or pick up the next issue of Game Informer if your not subscribed to it.  Oh yeah the title is great.. it’s called “Tomb Raider”.  The original game titles are just what you name games when you run out of ideas now i guess.
