Magnetic By Nature Announced Exclusively For Ouya

Looks genuinely compelling.

OUYA and Team Triplash announced today that Magnetic By Nature,  fast-paced adventure platforming game that lets players manipulate magnetism, will be hitting Ouya exclusively this May.

In Magnetic By Nature, players play the role of the last surviving robot exploring the ruins of an ancient civilization- using the power of magnetic attraction and repulsion, players must navigate the apocalyptic landscape, often negotiating difficult puzzles as well. Success relies on carefully balancing pushing and pulling on the level itself- go too far, and you meet a nasty, gruseome end.

Magnetic By Nature features a beautiful, striking art-deco style, and atmospheric sound design. It promises players over 100 levels, and it looks like it will be a compelling argument for Ouya, which finds itself floundering increasingly at retail, and, along with previously announced exclusives for the system, might just give it a legitimate shot to carve itself a niche.
