Tropico 5

The fifth installment in the long running Tropico series, Tropico 5, is due for release soon, and ahead of its launch, the developers are holding a beta in March to garner some feedback.

Tropico 5 represents a major step forward for the series; not only is it a graphical jump from the previous games, featuring an all new redone art style, but it also includes a host of new and exciting features, all of which can safely be summed up in one word- dynasties.

This time around, everything you do also has to be done while keeping your own dynasty in mind. Essentially, all your actions must be guided by the consideration that you are laying the seeds for your own dynasty for generations to come, so the needs of the people must be met accordingly.

Tropico 5 will launch later this year, and will add cooperative and competitive multiplayer for up to four players for the first time in the series’ history. Stay tuned for more coverage.
