Farming Earth Crystals:
The farming will take place in the Underground Cave so make sure you take both of your cats along with you. Now you would need to create a Gathering set which composes of Gather Master and Speed Gathering. This will help you to farm the crystals even faster. In order to develop this Gathering Set you would need a 3 slotted weapon with a Leather S Mail along with three Gathering Jewels in Charm and Torso Ups. Make sure you have a Pickaxe and Farcaster when you make your journey to the Underground Cave. When you reach the 8th area of the place you will find two mining points but you would need to go only towards the one on the left. Ignore the one on the right.
Now when you reach the 9th area you will find two crystal locations but there are a ton of enemies so its best to avoid the right and go for the left. Mine the two crystals there and use the Farcaster to make your way out ASAP. In this way you can probably gather around 100 Earth Crystals using this method.
Registering Your Equipment In The Guild Cards:
If you go to the menu you will find the options for the Guild Card. There are four different options here which are: Edit Guild Card, Send Guild Card, Guild Card List and My Guild Card. Avoid everything and go directly to Edit Guild Card and check whether it says Unregistered. If yes, confirm the selection. Registering the equipment is important as you won’t be able to update it from its previous state. Now go back and select Send Guild Card and depending on what you want to do, you can send to all or an individual. Beginners Guide:
Here are a few tips and tricks to get you started with the game.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate does not have any classes or levels. All that matters is your equipment so make sure you armed to the teeth. You defeat enemies and collect items and build armor and weapons when you come back to the town. So yes, this isn’t like your traditional role playing game. The game has 14 weapon classes and it goes without saying that mastering them will take some doing. So best to pick up a weapon you like and master it. We have a complete weapons guide for you below.
Always make sure that before you go hunting, try and make it a point to sort your items. Important items such as potions, Whetstones, Pickaxes, Paintballs and Steaks should always be a part of your items list. Weapons Guide:
If you are not into crafting or buying a new weapon, the game allows you to upgrade your current weapon instead. However you need to collect all the required materials in your journey. Once you do that head back to The Man and select the upgrade equipment option. The first few weapons should be easy to upgrade but if you really want to craft high quality weapons you would need to take part in Expedition.
