Bloodborne is almost here, and as its release date approaches, we are learning more and more about it. Sony just gave us the newest batch of screenshots for the game, which has the dual benefit of showing us more of the game for us to feast our eyes on, as well as also showing us our first glimpse at online play.

Bloodborne will, of course, feature multiple styles of play- PvP, PvE, co-op play, and asynchronous play, adding to the groundbreaking multiplayer design and innovations of Demon’s Souls and expanding upon it all.

Sony also confirmed that there will be a day one update for the game. As of launch day, March 24 (Tuesday) at midnight, there will be an online update to the game that provides for a better gameplay experience. The main contents of the update are as follows:

  • Online Play Optimizations
  • Game performance and usability improvements, etc.

Bloodborne launches in 12 days. Stay tuned.
