Octodad: Dadliest Catch Launching on PS4 This Tuesday

Eight legged mayhem.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch, the wacky and intriguing looking indie game that launched on PC to great acclaim earlier this year, will finally be launching on PS4 this coming Tuesday, April 22, Sony announced on the PlayStation Blog.

The game follows- stay with me here- the adventures of an ordinary dad and his family, except he happens to be an octopus, and he can’t quite let anyone find that out. The PS4 version of the game has support for new controller configurations like PlayStation Move, double PlayStation Moves, PlayStation Move plus Nav controller, as well as a local co-op mode, where you and your friends each take control of one of Octodad’s limbs to collectively unleash chaos.

Yeah, don’t ask me either. I don’t know why, but it sounds awesome.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be $14.99, discounted 20% off for PlayStation Plus users for the first week, making it $11.99 through April 29th. Stay tuned.
