Pokemon X & Y 3DS

The official UK Pokemon X and Pokemon Y Battle Tournament kicks off on March 1; qualifying events will be held at GAME stores and shopping centers across Great Britain, which will then lead to a Grand Final taking place in London in April.

The two top placing Trainers from the ‘Ultimate Pokémon Expert’ and ‘Junior Expert’ age categories at the Grand Final will then be offered fast track entry to the Pokémon UK Video Game Championships event this coming Spring, meaning they skip straight to the second round.

And why should you bother with this? Well, apart from trying to be the very best like no one ever was, this is also a chance for you to either win some Nintendo products (which, if you are playing Pokemon, you presumably don’t need), or a trip to Japan.

So, trainers across UK, you now get to battle your roster of potentially 719 Pokemon to see who is the very best.

Or you could just let Twitch battle for you.
