There are nearly 150 known Pals in Palworld, many of which can be saddled and ridden by your player character both over land and through the air. This Palworld guide will feature a selection of the fastest Pals you can ride and where to catch them.

While it may seem like a no-brainer to simply get an airborne Pal and just fly everywhere, it must be noted that Pals have a stamina meter too, and both you and your mount will come crashing back down to land or sea if you are not cautious. Certain areas are thick with foliage which can be a hindrance to traverse with a flying Pal as well.

Another point to keep in mind is that even though you could cheese and capture a rideable high-level Pal very early in the game, the resources and tools necessary to craft the saddle may not be within your capacity for quite some time.

Lastly, flying mounts are not necessarily the fastest Pals in Palworld, with several land-based Pals being top ten.

Fastest Land Pals In Palworld

Direhowl #026

This Neutral canine mount can be found all across the western and north-eastern regions of the map during both the day and the night. Direhowl has a sprint speed of 1050, and is a very early rideable Pal.

Univolt #056

An Electric Pal found in the central north-east primarily, during both the day and the night. The great thing about Univolt is that in addition to being fast, it can also apply Electric damage to your player character’s weapons, but only when mounted of course. An early Pal capture.

Pyrin #058

A Fire Pal from the volcanic regions in the south-western regions of the map during both the day and the night. Pyrin applies Fire damage to the player character’s weapons when mounted, and is a mid-game Pal mount with a relatively high sprint speed of 1300.

Rayhound #060

This Electric Pal has the added advantage of being able to double jump while mounted. Found across the north-eastern regions of the map during both the day and the night. A mid-game Pal catch.

Fastest Flying Pals In Palworld

Beakon #073

An Electric Pal that confers Electric damage to a mounted player character’s weapons. Beakon is located in the north-eastern regions of the map during both the day and the night. A mid-game Pal mount.

Ragnahawk #074

This Fire Pal has a speed of 1300 while sprinting, and can be found all over the south-western regions of the map during both the day and the night. Ragnahawk applies Fire damage to the player character’s weapons when ridden, and is a mid game mount.

Helzephyr #097

A Dark Pal that applies Dark damage to the player character’s weapons when ridden, Helzephyr can be found across the northern regions of the map exclusively at night. A mid-game Pal capture.

Suzaku #102

This Fire Pal enhances Fire attacks on the player character’s weapons when mounted. Suzaku can be captured across a wide area to the north-east, during both the day and the night. A mid to late game Pal mount.

Faleris #105

Faleris is a Fire Pal with the unique Partner Skill of Scorching Predator, which increases drops when fighting Grass Pals together with the player character. Faleris’ habitat is tiny and exclusively in the very north-east extreme of the map, during both the day and the night. A mid to late game Pal with a sprint speed of 1400.

Shadowbeak #107

Another Dark Pal that can apply Dark damage to a mounted player character’s weapons. Shadowbeak’s habitat is a tiny circle deep in the north-east corner of the map, and can be caught during both the day and the night. Also a mid to late game Pal mount.

Those are the fastest regular Pals to be selected from in Palworld.
