Wasteland 2 Kickstarter campaign is almost successful, with over 800k funded. The goal is $900k, which, let’s be honest here, should be pretty easy to achieve in 33 days.
Razor’s CEO Min-Liang Tan had pirated Wasteland years ago, and now he wants to repent for it. He has donated $10,000 and also apologized to Brian Fargo, the creator of Wasteland, for what he did.
“And I’m sorry for playing on a pirated copy of Wasteland years ago, I hope this makes up for it,” he messaged to Brian Fargo.
Fargo responded, “Wow. I just saw that you donated 10k. You more than made up for it. I am most grateful.”
Double Fine’s Adventure Kickstarter was a massive success with over $3.3 million funded, and this looks to be headed that way as well. If the Wasteland 2 Kickstarter ends with over $2 million, then you can pretty much expect a fantastic product from the InXile team.
