The new definitive edition release is also currently available at a deep 90 percent discount on Steam.

Developer NeocoreGames has announced that Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr now has a definitive edition release out on PC, following on from the edition’s PS5 and Xbox Series X/S launch late last year. Similar to the console version, the definitive edition aims to bundle all content released for the action RPG since its original launch.

The definitive edition, alongside featuring the base game itself, also features the Prophecy expansion set, as well as all other DLC released for Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr so far, including last year’s release of the Sororitas Class DLC.

To celebrate the release of the definitive edition, NeocoreGames has also announced that Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr Definitive Edition is currently available on PC at a deep discount. Both the base game, as well as the definitive edition releases are discounted to 90 percent, while the Sororitas Class DLC will be available as a separate purchase discounted by 50 percent.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr was originally released on PC back in 2018, and despite its rocky performance and design issues at launch, has seen the release of quite a few updates and new content.

Developer Neocore has unveiled a new DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr. The action-RPG is finally getting playable Sisters of Battle.

Developer Neocore has announced a new DLC for action-RPG Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr. The DLC adds a new playable class to the game—the Sororitas class. As the name might imply, the DLC essentially acts as an introduction of the Sisters of Battle as playable characters in Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr.

The Sororitas class revolves around the use of abilities dubbed Acts of Faith. They can also pull off more explosive special attacks by transforming into an Embodied Saint. As the names of these abilities and mechanics might imply, the Sisters of Battle are fiercly loyal to the God-Emperor of Mankind, and their faith borders on fanaticism.

Other features of the DLC include new weapons, such as flamers, blessed blades, power mauls, and power halberds. There will also be new perks and passive skills.

The Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr Sororitas Class DLC is slated for release on November 28 on PC. The console versions of the game will be getting the DLC at a later date.

The action RPG will launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S later this year, bringing a number of visual enhancements, including 4K support.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The announcement was made by publisher Nacon and developer Neocore Games at the Warhammer Skulls 2022 event. Check out the announcement trailer below for a glimpse of what the game will look like on current-gen consoles.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is a top-down action RPG offering its own take on Diablo-esque action and loot-driven progression, set in the Warhammer universe. The action RPG originally launched for PC in June 2018, and then came to PS4 and Xbox One a couple of months later, in August 2018.

On PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the game will boast various visual enhancements, such as native 4K resolution, enhanced shadows, and high-resolution textures. Other enhancements include improvements made to physics, and the inclusion of cross-gen multiplayer support. You can also expect full support for the DualSense’s features on the PS5.

This is one of several announcements made as part of the Warhammer Skulls 2022 event. One of the highlights of the event was the announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, a CRPG being developed by Pathfinder developer Owlcat Games. Another new announcement was Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, an old-school first person shooter in the works at Auroch Digital.

Meanwhile, we also got new trailers and updates for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and Total War: Warhammer 3’s upcoming Immortal Empires update.

Another month is almost up, another day is gone, and yeah, the world still is crumbling due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Oh well, it is what it is at this point, I guess. There is tons of free stuff out there for the various subscription services to keep you occupied and today we got a look at what Xbox Live Gold members can get their hands on soon with May’s Games With Gold.

On the Xbox 360 side of things, we get a nice little soccer title called The Sensible World of Soccer which will be available from May 1st to the 15th. Also on the 360, you can get the evil mastermind simulator, Overlord, starting on the 15th and going until the end of the month.

As far as the One, you can get in the mud and dirt with V-Rally 4 which will be available for the entire month of May. Also on Xbox One the epic fantasy action title based on the popular tabletop game, Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr, will be free for Gold members starting May 15th and run until the next month on June 15th.

The games will start coming out for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 starting May 1st and, as always, the Xbox 360 offerings will be backward compatible with all Xbox One systems.

Developer NeocoreGames’ adaptation of the long-running tabletop game, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr, will see a new update in May for PC.

The action RPG came out originally on PC June 18th 2018 to mixed reception. Since then, the developers have released the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and have featured several updates to improve the game based on community feedback. This major update will rework and update a lot of the game’s internal systems, including the progression system, level cap, endgame content, the loot system, and a lot more.

As of now the patch is only set to go live on the original PC version, with no dates give yet to the console versions, but NeocoreGames hope to get the free update to them as soon as possible. The game is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the trailer for the upcoming update below, and get the full patch notes below as well, as provided by the developers.

NeocoreGames continues to update Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr, its action RPG set in the Warhammer 40K universe. Season 2: Khorne has commenced, and it sees a new enemy faction introduced in the Khorne. Eleven new enemy units, an increased Inquisitorial Rank Cap, and an increased Item Level Cap have also been introduced.

Along with all the cap increases, a new subsector has been opened with Agartha. The minimum power rating is 1500, with two Investigations available for players to undertake. An interesting new mechanic in Season 2 is Blood Tithe, which sees the weather and difficulty change dynamically as more Khorne are killed. Increased weather variety can now be spotted on all maps.

Xbox One and PS4 owners will have to wait till August 28th to play the action RPG.

Though it seemed to be slated for launch yesterday, NeocoreGames and publisher Bigben Interactive have revealed that Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr would be out on August 28th for PS4 and Xbox One, after a small delay. This applies solely to North America, and isn’t the first time the console versions have been delayed.

Currently available for PC, Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr sees players taking on the unclean and wiping them out in the name of the Emperor. You’ll head to the Caligari Sector, which is overrun by the forces of Chaos and other heretics to mete out justice, and can choose from three available classes – Crusader, Assassin and Psyker – with each possessing three variants.

The action RPG has received quite a few updates since launch as part of Neocore’s free post-launch DLC approach. New missions, weekly events and so on have been implemented with numerous bug fixes over the past few months. Those on consoles can also benefit from two-player local co-op, though four-player online support is also available.

The game will also come with two graphical modes.

Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr will be launching with Xbox One X and PS4 Pro enhancements, like most (if not all) games do these days, but while in most cases the Xbox One X version of such games, thanks to its superior hardware, come out on top as the better one, with Martyr, that’s probably not going to be the case.

While speaking with WCCFTech, developers NeocoreGames confirmed that the game will run at a 1440p resolution on both systems, which means that they’re pretty much going to be identical, while it will also come with two graphical options, with one favouring resolution, and the other, called “Balanced”, running “a bit faster”, in the developers’ words.

“You’ll be able to switch between two graphical modes: “Balanced” and “Quality”,” they said. “Quality will look a bit better, Balanced will run probably a bit faster. Depending on what you prefer and what’s your play style. Regarding resolutions, we’ll have PS4 Pro and Xbox One X support with 1440p resolution, but you’ll be able to choose 1080p and 900p as well.”

What “run a bit faster” means, they didn’t go into, but the obvious assumption is that frame-rate will be more of a focus (though why it’s called “balanced” is anyone’s best guess). Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr launches today on PS4 and Xbox One (UPDATE: There’s been a slight delay), over two months after its initial PC launch.
