Warhammer 40K Darktide

A new trailer for Fatsharks’ co-op FPS Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is now available. It focuses on the “rejects,” convicts selected by the Imperium’s Inquisition to fight back against the hordes of Chaos on Tertium. Pre-orders are currently live on Steam and the Microsoft Store.

Unlike the developer’s Warhammer: Vermintide series, Darktide leans more towards ranged combat. Players customize their own character and choose the Veteran, Zealot, Ogryn or Psyker as their class. Each has their own special ability like Force Swords for Psykers and bonus headshot damage for the Veteran.

Characters will still have personalities with Fatshark having written over 75,000 lines of dialogue for interactions. As you complete missions with up to three others players (or the AI), you’ll work your way up the Imperium’s ranks and take on harder tasks. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is out on September 13th for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It also launches day one on Game Pass.
