Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has gotten a new developer diary courtesy of publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive. The developer diary features the studio’s chief creative officer Tim Willits, and creative director Oliver Hollis-Leick, alongside Clive Standen, who voices Space Marine protagonist Captain Titus.

The developer diary, titled Foundations of War, revolves around how Saber Interactive hopes to bring the setting of Warhammer 40,000 to life in the sequel to the cult-classic Space Marine. According to the diary, the studio is focusing on being faithful to the setting. Check out the full dev diary below.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was revealed at The Game Awards 2021, however, there has yet to be any release date announced for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Considering other Warhammer games like Darktide are scheduled for release in 2022, the absence of a Space Marine 2 release window likely means that the game is further out from release.

Whenever it launches, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is set for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
