Though it seemed to be slated for launch yesterday, NeocoreGames and publisher Bigben Interactive have revealed that Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr would be out on August 28th for PS4 and Xbox One, after a small delay. This applies solely to North America, and isn’t the first time the console versions have been delayed.
Currently available for PC, Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr sees players taking on the unclean and wiping them out in the name of the Emperor. You’ll head to the Caligari Sector, which is overrun by the forces of Chaos and other heretics to mete out justice, and can choose from three available classes – Crusader, Assassin and Psyker – with each possessing three variants.
The action RPG has received quite a few updates since launch as part of Neocore’s free post-launch DLC approach. New missions, weekly events and so on have been implemented with numerous bug fixes over the past few months. Those on consoles can also benefit from two-player local co-op, though four-player online support is also available.
