Game Pass Standard launches in place of the former base console tier of the subscription service, and doesn't include day one releases.
Though existing subscribers will keep their memberships as is, new users won't be able to subscribe to the current base tier starting July 10.
A new Standard tier will be accompanied by prices for Game Pass PC and Ultimate increasing to $12 and $20 per month respectively.
