The Division 2 Open Beta Confirmed for March 1st to 4th

Ubisoft Massive has yet to reveal if the content mirrors the recent private beta.

Ubisoft Massive has officially confirmed an open beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, scheduled to take place on March 1st. The beta will be available until March 4th, and it’s assumed that the same content from the private beta will be available. That means two main missions, some side missions, an end-game Invaded mission (with three Specializations), a Dark Zone, and PvP.

The full game promises a lot more than that, obviously. It will have three Dark Zones to explore, numerous story missions (with the campaign taking an estimated 40 hours to complete) and an end-game faction called the Black Tusks to deal with. Ubisoft Massive will also be supporting the game post-launch with eight-player raids.

All post-launch content in Year 1 will be free so there will be more story missions and such to look forward. The Division 2 is out on March 15th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. If you didn’t try the private beta or want to see if performance has improved (particularly for the PC version), then it might be worth trying out.
