The Division 2 Private Beta is Now Live

Ubisoft Massive also reveals current known issues with the beta and how to work around them.

If you pre-ordered Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 or signed up and got lucky, then the looter shooter’s private beta is now available to try. It includes some main missions, side missions, PvP, and end-game content to try out. The beta is available from today until February 10th.

The main missions are Grand Washington Hotel and Jefferson Trade Center, offering a look at the game’s main story. You’ll find civilian settlements to help in the wild, Control Point activities where opposing factions must be fought, and side missions (which should provide resources towards upgrading your Base of Operations). Tomorrow at 8 AM PST, players will experience an Invaded mission along with the end-game Specializations, going toe-to-toe with the Black Tusks in the process.

Of course, as with any beta, there are a few known issues. As per the development team, they include the game client crashing after an extended session, or receiving a game invite from someone inside the game while you’re outside of it. While fixes are in the works, ensure you restart the game every 2-3 hours anyway, and also that you’re in the game when joining any groups.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is out on March 15th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
