The Division 2, Ubisoft Massive’s follow up to their open world shared world MMO shooter, is due to launch very soon now, which means we are starting to get more and more details about it. In a new post on the game made on Xbox Wire, one which mostly discusses the game’s PvP and Dark Zone modes, we have gotten a tiny bit of information that may be interesting to a lot of people.
Specifically, it seems as though the story mode in The Division 2 will be 40 hours long, and can be enjoyed solo or in co-op. The story mode was apparently designed with the endgame in mind—which hopefully means that it will level you up and give your the appropriate gear necessary to tackle at least some of the endgame activities, rather than leaving you on one side of a chasm, and expecting you to grind your way to the other side, much like Destiny games often do.
The Division 2 will be out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 15. If you are interested in what the story may be like, make sure to look into the game’s story trailer. Meanwhile, if Dark Zones and PvP are more your thing, we recently reported on how the Dark Zones in the new game will work, so make sure to check that out too.
